Who are Coffeesh0p

This is John & Jo, the faces behind. We started Coffeesh0p.com as a hobby several years ago while we were at university, and since then, we've become a rather successful little business. It all started when we noticed just how much some other places were selling Salvia extracts for - no, our eyes didn't turn into little dollar signs; we actually felt insulted by such high prices. First, we looked into making our own extracts as a way of reducing the cost to the customer. A few months down the line, we realised that actually salvia extracts don't cost that much to buy in bulk. It turns out that the only reason for the astonomical price of salvia extracts everywhere was the large profit being taken by these other companies. Since then, we've expanded massively, stocking all kinds of weird and wonderful things, all the time trying to offer a fair price. Monster profits were never our primary goal, and they never will be, so long as we're in charge!

John Clarke

John is the guy that answers your emails. He has a 2:1 in Medical Science, specialising in pharmacology. He does all the programming behind the site, and when he's not optimising something, coding new features, or writing about himself in the third person, he also writes on his blog, Synchronium.net. You can also follow him on Twitter. Of course, what he writes about elsewhere does not necessarily reflect the views of Coffeesh0p.com. As you'd expect, John is a bit of a nerd at heart, spending his free time playing computer games, reading popular science books and doing a bit of DJing.

Jo Hall Clarke

Jo is the girl that writes all the content for the site, and is the person that packages your orders. She has a 2:1 in English, and when she's not got her nose in a book, or correcting something John's written, she'll be making sure your order gets posted on time, or writing something for John's blog. Jo's ultimate hash brownie recipe on the blog is currently #1 in Google for "hash brownies"! She also looks after our Facebook group and Twitter feed.
