So when is the best time of the year to plant my white widow seeds, how many seeds should i try grow at once. best time ismiddle of june when cold periods have stoped and so on up to you how many you germinate and grow i had a bag of hemp and started them all of for kicks majoirty died. Does the weed like direct sun light, or would a plant in a window sill the side of the house the sun aint shining on (shadow side) work?. Do i need to add miracle grow to its water etc.. you want it on the south side of the house. so the sun will catch it constantly pretty much, mine was in the window sill but my room faces south, and get constant sunlight! miracle grow burns the root's i used tomorite. but in real theory there should be no need for them. Also i dont see how winter should matter if i am growing it indoors right?.
well its al about light cycles , if its in your window sill through winter instead of it gettign 18/6 and 12/12 cycles (even though day light isnt controled liek that) your plant weill have to put up with the constant changes in the cycle. as winter gets deeper.

hey man,
get your seeds, and put them in a container with cotton wool or tissue paper. wet the wool or tissue and put the seeds on top. keep it moist and put it somewhere dark and warm.
when the seeds split and white tails come out, its time to put them in.
get some potting mix, perlite and a few blocks of coconut coir, and mix the three in equal parts for a soil. That mixture in soil holds moisture, has good drainage and aeration and excellent root growth. I got it from High Times magazine and it fucken rocks. light weight too.
if you want, you can just use slow release fertilizer with just perlite, but you'd need to water it alot. And with the perlite, potting mix, coir mixture you can use organics easier, since perlite can support organic life very well without other soil additives or whatever.
Organics over chemicals anyday. The high is much better, the smoke is smoother and tastier.... And you don't feel as bad afterward. But you what you can.... I just find theres always fish emulsion and seaweed fertilizers and such which do the job well.... Organics also make stronger, healthier plants.
When the white root has emerged from the seed, put it in soil, about 1/4 inch deep, root pointing down, and press the soil over it firmly, but not too hard. Then keep the soil moist.
once the seedling emerges, give it sun, if you can, or put it under flourescent lights, or HID lights. The plants need more than 12 hours a day to grow, and 12 or less to flower.
The size of your pot can determine the size of your plant, and ultimately, the size of your buds. Bigger pots make bigger plants, therefore bigger buds. (or more buds, depending if you tip your plants)
You can start off in small pots (as big as a drinking cup) or even in rockwool squares (about the same size). A tray with some water in the bottom and a couple of drops of 3% peroxide could support the seedlings for a while indoors. Only put half strength nutrients on them if in the tray.
You say you've missed your growing season? Why not start the seedlings under flouros for a few weeks then put them out to flower? Make a greenhouse/ shelter if it snows or whatever.
In any case, get seeds, germinate them, grow the seedlings up, water them when its dry, fertilize them when they're yellow or funny looking, and pick them when they've budded.
Tell us how you go.
