Vaporizers are healthier than smoking, stronger effect, easier to inhale... They're great but the problem is that they cost alot. Of course there're cheap DIY alternatives ranging from basically free to cheap (if compared to commercial ones). If you want to test: a) Take a light bulb, take out all the shit inside, put the herbs inside, insert some kind of pipe and seal it, then heat the bulb with a lighter untill the herb starts to get vaporized. Don't let it start to burn (some of it will allways burn with this method) b) Take a glass jar with a lid, punch a hole in the lid, block the hole. Put the glass jar on electric stove (if you have gas stove put it on a frying pan) on small heat. Wait for it to heat up enough so the herb starts vaporizing. Wait till the jar has enough of steam, unblug the hole and inhale. Blug it again wait for another round Also if you happen to have a nice heatgun with a good settings for heat and output you can set the heat to around 190C (374F). Fill your favourite bong with water and ice, insert the herb. Instead of lighting it up use the heatgun on the herb. Result is about the same you get with a commercial vaporizer if not even better

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Genem, fancy selling it? . Where are you from? From the UK. It's not really worth it to sell. Belive me when i say you could make a far superior version for the price of a regular blue meanie. All you would need is solder station with an adjustable temperature range ( www.maplin.co.uk) and a large glass jar and a bit of pipe and tubing to suck on. I opened my Blue Meanie and there is a part that looks suspiciously like part of the handle from a cheapo soldering iron. Still i shouldn't have been expecting quality components for a device so cheap. All that seems to go into making a blue meanie is; a soldering iron, little red light, large plastic cup (1L), a glass jar (1L) and bits of pipe and tubing. For £50 it just isn't worth it. All i use it for now is to quick dry things.

Sorry for the double post. Alright here are the pics: Pic of the blue meanie, note the sticker is different to ones on websites but also note that this BM is 2 to 3 years old. The black cardboard tube thing is what it came in. http://tinypic.com/1zcq13m.jpgThis is it taken to pieces. http://tinypic.com/1zcq23p.jpgAnother angle, note the blue hexagonal bit of plastic. I've seen that design on some soldering irons. http://tinypic.com/1zcq2c9.jpgA look into the cup the green pipe goes through the lid into the glass chamber. The lid is actually red like a coka cola bottle, although in the pic it looks orange. http://tinypic.com/1zcq2p3.jpgA pic of the jar and the tube you suck on. http://tinypic.com/1zcq2vt.jpgOh and another thing there was a bag of what appeared to be sand packed into the bottom to add weight. I removed this a long time ago. A pic of old faithful. http://tinypic.com/1zcz2mo.jpg
