Bought a ticket to Leeds festival last night

That's Friday to Sunday, then on Monday, I'll be flying to Amsterdam to see Radiohead. What a culmination! Not sure how long I'll be spending in Amsterdam, but that weekend and following week, I have a feeling I'll be spending an absolute fortune.

Anyone else going to Leeds?

Can't afford to go this year. I really wanted to because theres like 6 bands there I like a lot... Still, I don't know if it'd be worth paying for all those bands when I like about 6 of 'em .

Too many emo bands there lol, Franz Ferdinand is ok though, Trust me usually the free local band concerts are excellent!

Damn right, going with loads of mates, gonna be top. I heard something about against me and some other sweet bands playing on some radio1 stage whatever that is, but haven't heard anything about it since :/.

I got another mate a ticket to leeds the other night for £147 on ebay, which isn't bad at all for weekend with camping ticket so close to the event. Should be good, gonna deffo meetup with Synch. Will be trying E and Speed for the first time and should be getting Kratom off Synch, another first, should all be good.

thursday before... one guy came in no response.. went to hospital.. missed the whole festival because he overdosed before it started! watch yourself:)

was awesome.
On the saturday I bought 2 of these legal pills and took them, felt nothing so i bought some more, a different brand, and took both of them (max dose on each was 2per week, and i'd already had 2 the day before) still felt pretty much nothing. So I went back to camp and started to feel a bit more energetic. A bit later I got a call from synch, so i took some of my speed (which already had 2 pills of E crushed into as they were in the same bag and crumbled when i sat down :/). When there I did a little bit more speed before giving it and my last pill to synch, and then did some weed with salvia and some poppers, and spent till 5.30am there. I got back to my camp and didn't sleep apart from about 3 hours on monday morning was great.

Was really good, definately worth going.

Wow.


Leeds was absolutley amazing. On the wednesday, we just sat n our tent listening to the likes of Air & Pink Floyd on a whole host of drugs. The next day, we pretty much did the same. ON the friday, we went to see a couple of bands... Forward Russia, who were alright, Placebo who were pretty good but not at their best, Hot Chip who were just plain funktastic and finally a set from 2 Many DJs, an hour or so of hard techno.

On the Saturday, we saw a few bands during the day. Highlights included Bell & Sebsastian, Guillemots and Secret Machines. We weren't too bothered about any of the headliners so we just sat round the campfire. Bear in mind we were a group of 5, but we got a fire going and played some Fleetwood Mac, and soon enough there was about 20 people sitting around, including nyko.

Saturday was pretty good. We saw a few pretty cool bands like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Be Your Own Pet, Futureheads, the Streets. Later on, we got right to the front during Arctic Monkeys, not because we liked them particulaly, but because Muse were up next. Muse were fucking brilliant. Their lighting, sound and choice of songs were brilliant. There was so much energy, you'd literally get lifted off the ground with everyone else whether you wanted to or not. And if you lacked stomach muscles, you might well have been killed being as close to the barrier as we were.



... But, since I'm just THAT awesome, we fucked off from Leeds at about 8:30 in the morning straight to the Airport where me and a mate of mine flew to Amsterdam to see Radiohead that night. Just like muse, the set, lighting and sound were spot on. It reallllly was the best gig ever.

The next few days we spent in amsterdam sampling the local fungi & herbs.
